2008 Beginning.
State: Alert.Howdy people! Why is the state ALERT? Hahaha.. This is gonna be a long entry. Walkergal had MIA-ed for a while isn't it? Yeah, here's to make up for it. Heh.
Now is... the 2nd Day of 2008. What did I do during Day 1 of 2008? :)
I think its really cool for me to wake up slowly in the morning, make my way to the sofa at the living room, rub my eyes, and to mess up a bit of BBC's hair, squeeze her ears before finally settling down on the sofa and for the first time I have time to experience a bit of couch potato life in my very own house.. which only lasted for just a short while. Really.
I was checking through my school email and YES, FYP Woo replied my email of FYP update. He said I can pop in his office anytime. Great. I can discuss with him abit before I leave for Saigon. Oh, can you believe it... he wrote this too: 'Understand yesterday was the release of results. Hope u r happy with your grades.'
Hahaha.. I think he was really nice to add that in. Well well. The results was out for walkergal on 28 Dec 07 to be specific. Yeah. I was quite disappointed with my results actually. I was hoping for A+, B+, B, B... but I got A-, B, B-, B- instead... oh well. I still thank God that there isn't any Cs :) Anyways, its over. Perhaps its good that I write about this. I'm quite sure I'll feel better after I'm done with this entry. :)

What have I been busy with these days? Choosing pictures taken during Japan trip as well as China Trip for developing. (Okay, I know I should have done that LONG time ago.. but I didn't)
I say, its really nice going through them but seriously it can be dangerously tiring?

Oh, I got really nice sweet christmas pressies for 2007... all really practical gifts. Just to quote one would be from my cousin Jenny, she gave me a Survival Japanese little book!! Hahaha.. isn't that sweet? Thank you Cousin Jenny!! :) Need me to quote another gift? Seriously, I think I gave my besty the MOST nonpractical gift. =.= oh nevermind. Nothing is lost yet. :) Her birthday is coming soon anyway. I hope to shock her again. =P
My besty gave me a BOX. Nah.. not the physical BOX.. (But I think she almost wanted to BOX me but had no time? =P) Hurhur.. she put all her thoughtful bits into a BOX. Seriously, I haven't meet anyone else who shares the same thoughtfulness as her. :) I'm seriously looking for a mini electric heating pad now... She said its a co-investment. =.= Now you know why I love my besty so much. Anyone? Tell me where to get the smallest electric heating pad. It got to match my gift by the way cos I love silver things and hate to pair them up with something that can't enhance the beauty of silver.

Next up, I went for actual DRIVING (finally..) with the Emperor on 30 Dec 07. Seriously I didn't expect myself to pick up so fast again.. after like.. not touching the wheel since 22 Nov (Passed Practical Test)... well, but then again.. maybe I'm just born to know how to drive? Hurhur.. =P Tsk Tsk. Walkergal got to make more effort to sound more humble!! Anyways! So I had all 3 driving lessons on that day! Right after church, Emperor fetched all of them back and while BBC was resting at home before her vivo rehearsal starts at 4pm, during Lesson 1, I learned the proper parking techiques and get to drive back to home multi-storey car park from the 'training car park'.
Lesson 2 was when Emperor fetched BBC to vivo and I tagged along and took over the wheel after reaching vivo and drove from there to Hougang to find the dry-clean shop closed so couldn't collect my cleansed winterwear. So I drove back home from there.
Lesson 3. It was midnight and we set off to vivo again. This time leaving the house, it was me on the wheel! Hahaha.. but being at night. Got to be really alert for those drink-driving hippies around. It was cool but really tiring. Haha.. not something that I can build up 'stamina' by running longer distances.
Today I drove my family, less BBC to Burlington's Square. Upon reaching there, I wasted no time in perfecting my car parking skills while they shopped. Then just now, I drove from home to telok blangah area first, then back to my Shell finally. :)
Well. These days.. have been pretty tiring and sad. Despite all the yaas.. and the hoos.. for new year celebrations.. Lots of things happened around me. My close friend's dad just passed away 2 days ago. It came upon their family so sudden. It was a case of heart attack. Went to see her just now and she was still very sad about things but she is strong. She did all the procedures and preparation for her dad. Her brother, 23, got to be the man of the house now.
Readers, I hope that no matter how sad things might be for you in life, you got to always remember that you got to stay strong because only by doing so, then you can continue to fight through everything. Remember, all is yet lost until one chooses to let go.
