new hostel room is super messy and dirty..Thanks to Songqian and Ah huan for helping me to move my stuff yesterday! ^^ But the room is not yet done la! still have to wait till they change the lock then can clean up the place..



sigh. the matteress super CMI..its so old and God knows what activity was done on the old matteress! argh.... but the room is big la...hee.. big for me to put my TV and debbie's fridge!



sigh..sch is opening and so much things undone in hostel...argh!!





YES... orange will be fine still...after all..what is this compared to my working stress...NOTHING!

OMG....EVERYONE... ORANGE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY....

Orange passed her COC assessment... and with effect from today...


ORANGE IS A COC HOLDER NOW!!!!!!


COC = Certificate Of Competence

Got to study lots and lots of stuff... and with a super BZ working schedule..u think its easy to find time to study? and this is only the THEORY part only... what about the practical? FACT is.. I'm not up to standard at all. BUT during the COC assessment today... its really kind of AMAZING. Its like a panel interview.. 3 assessors.. and 1 person to go thru 45 - 60 mins of questioning.. HOWEVER... I was in fact last person to go in... another person just came out of the room.. the assessors are now taking break... then all of sudden, my XO just enter into the waiting area, asked me straight in my face:

XO: "Shiyi! When's ur turn?"
Shiyi: "Sir, I'm the last one..."
XO: "What? No la... (pointing finger at me) U go in next..."
Shiyi: "Huh...? =.=" (means I have no time more to study...OH NO!) Sir...I thought you put me the last one?
XO: (did not answer my question at all... he walk straight into the room)
Shiyi: -.-" (flipping taskbook frantically.. hoping to absorb as much as i can)

AFTER 2 MINS...

XO: "Shiyi! Come in for ur assessment."
Shiyi: "wat?! Sir... sigh.. ok... i coming now.."

When I enter the room... i see 5 persons there waiting to assess me LAH! OMG... people get 3 only.. i have 5 persons.... i'm gonna be dead meat.


Orange was inside the room for only about 30 mins... 30MINS and i was only asked 1 question...! and others took 45mins plus for their session...


LOTs of thoughts went thru my head after my assessment. how come they only ask me one question.. how come my xo came in so suddenly?


our pass/failure was not told to us immediately.. it was only after all of us 7 persons completed the assessment then we all sat together b4 the assessors broke the news to us. Out of the 7 of us... only 3 person passed..I was one of them.

Orange really have no idea... but somehow I know God did it again for me...
I really should not have passed it.. my lack of knowledge and experience really should not have cleared me...to top it up.. my lack of confidence in my speaking.. how could I have passed?

Since God already paved this way, Orange shall use it to do things now with more confidence. I'm so glad that I was able to come back today to BLOG!!! ^^

wednesday will be a long day...till thur afternoon.. friday got OUT outing to Orchard till afternoon! Hee... but after that will need to return for my night duty... my very first night duty officially...
once i got my coc today, just now i was told to do tmr day duty for them...argh. they really know when to squeeze me to my last drop before i leave for school! =.="
whatever... i will do my best... but orange still wanna write... I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SATURDAY!!!!! till then... orange still got 5 more days to GO!

really stressful....super tired

Thank God for everything!

I'm super duper tired. TIRED mentally... TIRED physically.. LOTS of things happened. Had been doing a lot of reflections... i guess i have to move up a higher level. Base on my current ability..its clear that its insufficient.











ARGH.









it has been a long long week for me...though it has past, i'm still very much affected by it. but after spending my time back in church on yesterday and today, i feel so much better now. Serving God is really a JOY to me somehow.. hahas.. this feeling... i didn't had the chance to feel it until recently this year when I decided to commit my own time to serve God.


Had a really nice time chatting with ah huan during yesterday dinner at uma uma men... my beloved sista have this WONDERFUL opportunity to do something on sunday (today). Thats y she MIA today from church service... wanna know what it is? HAHAs... shall elaborate on it now..

Her dance coach, Zaki, recommended her to Mediacorp... to dance for this music video thing.. WITH the Singapore idol contestants... hows that... amazing huh! I'm sooo happi for her to be able to have this once-in-a-blue-moon experience... Hope she will enjoy and have a good experience dancing in the music video... whether will we catch her in the video...that I don't know.. but im very sure its going to be a great experience to her. Thank God for this opportunity!





===SATURDAY===

Orange had a long talk with daddy..while he fetch Orange to church yesterday for meeting and guitar lesson... chat on stuff about work.. which im really affected by lots of stuff..shall not harp on it now. i realised how well my dad actually knows me. Though many times i seldom chat with him about my problems... he had been always observing me quietly and supported me. I really thank God for this Daddy. ^^




My mood now?? its better now..thanks to God on the friends and loved ones He provided. Its going to be another gruelling (did i spelt correct?) week ahead... despite all the lousy situations that i'm going to go thru again... i know that somehow.. this week will come to an end. Tmr will be my COC assessment.. I'll do my best... whatever the outcome will be, God knows and He will provide. Whether my friday duty still holds..it will depend alot on the assessment tmr.

This week also lots of things to learn and to do.. BUT...whatever it is, all i know is, Orange will be moving hostel room on SATURDAY morning! Worship rehearsal on SAT 1200 - 1400.. then is our VERY own, GEL CITY RACE, 1500 - 1830... If can will surely go.. but if cannot, will confirm join the GEL dinner after that! Hahas.. i'm really... really looking forward to the weekend. ^^


OOPS... by the way...this sat guitar lesson is postponed! Really paiseh to all those who hope to learn more on strumming.. so to make up for it.. heh.. HOMEWORK for the guitarists....pls make sure u practice LOTS on the chords: G, C, D, E, A, Am, D7.... read the notes if u forgot.. ONLY then you can move on to strumming patterns.. which i can only guide u on it after u can play the above mention chords.. else the guitar session will be still just playing solo chords and can't move on to strumming patterns. try to practice at least 30mins daily. remember to cut ur fingernails short... Orange shall not nag too much..





SO! Orange is not going to be defeated by all the current shitified situations! I will survive cos i HAD SURVIVED! God is able and will provide!

Orange feels so piggy.. now i know that I can really eat A LOT.
just for yesterday shopping cum dinner at bugis area... guess wat I ate??

1. 2 Japanese 'fan tuan' (triangular shape with seaweed) - $2
2. 1 Japanese Green Tea icecream with cone - $4
3. Lai Lai Stew Beef Noodles (newly discovered! Rate 9/10) - $6.80
4. 2 Breadtalk Buns (1 dollar promotion) - $2

wahahahs....! this is when Orange goes shopping alone...this is what will HAPPEN!

WELL... i just wanna try out new food ma... all i never eat b4...even the buns! HAHAHAs... not bad ah.. spent $14.80 all on dinner... hee.. to think i normally don't spend $$ then once i spent, its always on food and my tequilas... wahahahas!

sigh... so sian.. this week SUPER BZ.. sailing and sailing.. absolutely NO TIME to go jogging... argh and its already FRIDAY! +.+"

tmr will be duty until sun morning.. think i wont be going jogging this week.. hope next week i can do my running.. hope I can finish up my task book soon and be really ready for my COC assessment.. think im only like 65% ready only now... now so much sailing.. hope still have time to master up everything!

now come to think of it.. i haven't pray about this la.. in the midst of so many things.. no wonder I still feel so kan cheong...

TODAY.

Hahas... got morning off from work to pack up my hostel stuff.. sigh. have to move out so soon.. if don't pack now.. next week CONFIRM no time de..Then the hostel person in charge so lousy la... sent email saying we got to move out our current room by this week to our stipulated room... then now when i called.. the person said the contractor to change the locks of the new rooms haven't change those locks yet... wa biang... then how now brown cow??

sigh.. this people.. never even email us when there is a delay.. bad coordination... bad administration... pengs! if this is the military... I'll make sure they SIGN XTRA.. argh.

Then had Officer's lunch at Civil Service Club @ Bukit Batok... super nice la.. y?


COS our XO treating........wahahhahhahahaS!! anyway its so little to him la.. we had a set course lunch at hilltop restaurant... its not bad... once i enter the restaurant.. the aircon is cold and NICE...i can zz any time la...operationally ready.. but never get the chance to do so la.. cos got FOOD!!

hahahs... then after that I wanna leave le.. but ops o and aops and xo wanted bowling.. wa biang.. Orange never play bowling.. since primary sch days.. i had always been a faithful spectator... sigh...but was told that i should use this bonding session to GEL with them...... so i give my FIRST TIME. today... on BOWLING.

OMG...i realised i can BOWL. wAHAHAHAs... I can't believe la.. my first time stepping out on the slippery floor with the slippery shoes.. AIYO..Orange CAN BOWL!!!
My highest score was during my 2nd round... scored 96 pts.. WELL.. for a beginner.. Hahas... i guess I did my best la...

yup... after which no fetch me and yiling to chinese garden mrt.. then i made my way back Jurong pt to take my dinner at top lever food court.. my sour and hot noodles... on top i ate 3 buns from Breadtalk.. what a piggy i am!
Took the shuttle bus, the super tired me zz and when i woke up, many pple were getting down... hmm.. problem is i don't even know where i am but i know its not NTU la.. how come pple are getting down? so i got down too.. and found myself some parts of unfamiliar place in the heart of jurong!!!!

arrrrghhhh...! THEN I REALISED... today is FRIDAY... there is NO SHUTTLE going back to NTU... I dunno what shuttle i hop on la... aiyoyo...can u imagine i can be so blur?

heiz... so i took the nearest 243, go back jurong interchange, then take the ever so familiar 179... and i zz on it too la! gosh... this shows im really zz ready.. anytime.. anywhere... ^^

okie... gotta prepare bag for tmr's work le...

sigh. yesterday was able to last min go back palace.... yea.. its PALACE.. NOT HOSTEL.

supposed to be gd news ya? apart from the really delicious meal for dinner, nice chatting, nice ah huan... somethings still happen. i dunno y... but this is not the first time anyway.. im 'numbed' to it already. formatting pc seems like taking bus for me whenever i go back palace. all my precious data gone.. im so FED UP. i know i'm dead tired.. but i still wanna clear this problem... can't stand having pc problems around me..UNLESS i dunno how to solve la. =_=" knowing tat Empress every month gotta support this monthly unlimited internet bandwidth.. and its just so unfair for the entire family when becos of ..... everyone has to work either without internet, spoilt monitor, keyboard, or even MOUSE!

... physically tired and now mentally so tired about this. i guess i just have to live with it. Since God has given me IT knowledge, i guess its not really a problem for me to handle this... just that im SICK AND TIRED of installing everything nicely and only to see it being destroyed by...

lesson learnt..NEVER gonna save my precious photos and songs into home pc!

TODAY! early morning went to do SHS near CNB, then got a chance to be outstationed at bugis! but this is not exactly gd la... pls read on...

went to sim lim sq to check out the internet camera for the project.. finally got all things sorted out! ^^ sigh.. after so many weeks...
Then went shopping!!! wahahhahaas... nowadays so many things SO ORANGE! ^^ OK, Orange is not against other colours... just that working life is soooo ... i need bright colours to brighten up my LIFE! sometimes frustrating stresses made me see 'red' la.. Hee.. whatever la.. ORANGE happens to be THE colour for Orange.. hahas..
so many things i wanna buy la! sigh... if i were to write down everything on my wishlist here.. hahas... it won't be just a list... it will become another BLOG! WAHAHAHAHAS... ^^

I'm NOT GONNA waste this precious time of mine.. to think i have to forgo this sat guitar and GEL! but NO WORRIES.. unless last min changes, Emperor had just confirmed that he would fetch Orange for sun church service! hahas.. plus breakfast delivery on car wo.. Heh. u know something? Orange and her beloved sista, ah huan BOTH have a weird habit.. dunno y.. we enjoy having meals in Emperor's car.. wahahahas.. eating all kinds of food on car.. fast food.. chicken rice.. chee cheong fun... beehoon... Empress's specially-packed-dinner...u name it! HAHAS.

I thank God for His faithfulness today.

To think that I actually broke my record yesterday... SUPER HISTORY for me since I last ate prata... and guess wat? wahahahas.. ATE 2 prata... 1 Mushroom prata and 1 Egg prata...

Hmmm.. somehow didn't really feel sinful... fact is I ALSO dunno y...

Was it because I got exercise really hard these few days? or... I just too hungry?

hehe... anyways... whatever the reason is not really impt la! the thing was.. i got to practice worship leading after the dinner.. aiyoyo.. after that my voice was like croaking bits here and there... hahas.. couldn't reach high notes la! AIYO!

Heh.. thank God nothing serious happen to vocal.. though still got a bit 'saya'.. this morning managed to warm up my vocal.. to think my vocal just recovered only..

This morning had been a great learning chance for me. Hope to improve for the better!

u know wat? Orange just checked her working duties schedule... bad news.

this coming sat (15 Jul) 'kena' night duty.. hai! can only be 'released' from ship 0830 onwards on sun.. if Emperor can fetch me then i can rush for church service..

also for next fri (21 Jul) night duty.. PENGS.. only can leave on sat after 0830...

hai.. guess got to postpone guitar lessons to next week le...

COC on 26... then on tmr onwards it will be super bz la... when can i find time to study to clear my COC?

..Disappointed..argh.

Orange so tired today. Quite depressed now in fact. why did i make that mistake just now? argh... really feel so shitified now. I meant to be careful but end up it backfired.. end up i was careless... argh.

today also discovered other mistakes.. tried hard not to be blur about things.. end up still made a blunt.. argh. God.. i need a break. The pressure is coming in so fast now.. cannot afford to make another miss. God.. replenish my weak brain cells... replace with strong memory cells. Help me to feel confident about my delivery in everything I do..

today learnt many things.. cos made alot mistakes... guess its not a bad thing after all. also received info that my COC assessment is on 26 July! think that day got other things to do.. but i think COC still comes first. so hmmm.. maybe no need to do other things on that day.

argh... today realised my last day of work is nOT on 27 Jul bUT on 28 jUl... worst thing was.. I'm on night duty on 28!! ie to say i can only be secured from work on sat morning! argh.. how can i make such a blur mistake?! argh.. but good thing is IF pass clear my COC assessment on 26 Jul, I will be certified to do night duty on 28.. but IF never clear.. means had really waste my this 2.5 months of work, studying day and night for this COC.. and my 28 Jul will be just doing understudy once again.. just like my any other days in work... argh.

tmr.. orange staying onboard.. y? cos cleared my ippt already and they need a supervising officer. ippt is early early morning on fri... hmmm.. sigh.. since haven't clear my COC.. just stay in to study then fri morning no need wakey so early. hope my decision is wise..

today's big mistake will be Orange's reminder for things of tomorrow. hope i can be a productive learner and leader. God.. take charge.

today can do so much blogging cos Orange got a DAY OFF cos today is SUBJECT REGISTRATION Day!!! Hee... and the school system this time round works so fast la! just 1 click of button, all my desired subjects timing were like added in the system within split second... wOw!

I guess by now before I start to blog about my IPPT GOLD... wahahahas... many already learnt about it le!!!

YAY! ^^ OK.. currently still 22 years of age... Orange has yet pass her Special Day.. so still under category X for IPPT...

Offically clocked the following scores for IPPT on 30 JUN 2006:

SIT UP: 30 (hee.. could do more.. but do more still 5 pts ma.. ^^)

SBJ: 200 (yay! this is a miracle la.. Must be God sent angel pushed me high up.. cos Orange's highest SBJ in ocs was only 186 ^^)

CHIN UP: 12 (i never tot i could do more than 8 la.. tot my arm muscle went rusty ^^)

SHUTTLE RUN: 10.6 (Thank God for sprinting power.. cos i can't really sprint.. im long D runner ^^)

2.4km RUN: 12.25 (My last time in NTU was horrible. 13.30.. what can I say? Thank God! ^^)

Hmmm.. if they realised my last day of work is 27 July, will they push forward these 2 duties earlier?? Hmmm... really no idea wo. God... Make a way... i need more rest!
