Blast FYP

State: Cold Cold.

Mythinformation off cold from The Straits Times.

1. We used only 10% of our brains.
Fact: Modern brain imaging shows that all parts of our brain are used.

2. Hair and fingernails grow after death.
Fact: Optical illusion. Skin on fingers dries and recedes after death, hence making nails look longer.

3. Shaving hair will cause it to grow back faster, darker and coarser.
Fact: Shaving removes only the dead portion and has no effect on new growth.

4. Reading in dim light ruins your eyesight.
Fact: It strains the eyes but the effect is not permanent.

5. Eating turkey makes you drowsy.
Fact: Turkey has the same amount of tryptophan (cause drowsiness) as chicken and minced beef, which is less than pork or cheese. It could be the large meal consumed together with turkey that end up causing drowsiness.

Facing the lappie for the whole day can be really horrible. So what did walkergal do? She just felt like cleaning the Shell up and she did it. Swept and mopped. Ahhh.. now the floor is soooooooo clean and smooth on her feet now. :)

Well. This is the only free week left and I'm tied to the neck with FYP Blast... and its
ALREADY friday. *screams of horror*

Schooool is re-starting next week from 7 Jan 2008 onwards.
Walkergal is OFF to Ho Chi Minh on 8 Jan. Cool Huh.

I will have LOTS to catch up from my first time skipping of lessons on the first week of school in my WHOLE 4 YEARS of education with this semester being my LAST semester of my education.

Well. Let's just view it this way. No matter what, I still got to catch up on my lectures when I'm back. So, hit it man, play hard at HCM then mug hard when I'm back!! That should be the way. *smiles*

Alright.. to answer all the questions about my watch. Yeah. I finally found the one I like. :)

Let's just say I prefer not to wear the watch that everyone else is wearing. With the whole world following a certain trend, walkergal chooses to be out of it.

Now for the details.

I think the watch suits me fine. My rugged style.. with the sapphire crystal face, I won't scream when my wrist bang against the wall. In where I'm working, the Moon is important to me. I work to fulfill hours of duty and to be really frank, I will end up not knowing which day of the week I'll be at. The watch was pretty helpful to tell me the week number, the month, the day of the week, and the date. To top it off, it is water resistant up to 10 ATM. That means 330feet / 100m below water! I'm not a diver by the way and I don't swim wearing a watch!

Empress commented that it looked like an owl. Well WELL.. I guess its high time for me to reveal that I'm half an owl and half a dove. That's after doing some psychological tests during my training days. I do have lots of peacocks and eagle friends. =P

As for my cool timex. Thats gonna be with me most of the time in running and sweating out and especially to hcm.

Speaking about thoughtfulness.. One more person that I've came across and it SUITS her really well. And that's none other than my cousin XX!! Hurhur... :)
