But. this feeling goes away pretty fast sometimes.. =.="

Since orange is free abit for now.. let me touch on some HEALTH issues.

People always say don't eat carbs.. it make u FAT.

oh WELL. there IS 2 kinds of carbs if u still DUNNO.
Simple Carbs AND Complex Carbs.

What's their DIFF then? ^^

Simple carbs like sugar, white breads, cake, donuts.. are broken down by the body quickly and they increase blood sugars. The body then secrets insulin (A FAT storage hormone)... to bring your blood sugar levels back to normal. Hence the sugar is cleared. This is known as an energy crash - The sudden rise in sugars WILL also RESULTS in fat deposition.

on THE OTHER side, Complex carbs like wholewheat products, oatmeal... are broken down slowly. Hence this keeps your blood sugars stable and your insulin levels down. This is WHY.. MANY PEOPLES.. including ME.. always say EAT wholewheat products.. then u won't get FAT so easily! Making it a habit can keep u HEALTHY! ^^

NOW.. if u think its SO TROUBLESOME TO take note of such carbs.. Just note the following.

There are two instances that you can have your carbohydrates with ALMOST NO FEAR of getting fat.

1. Right after training.
2. At breakfast time.

Glycogen a.k.a stored glucose can be extremely low in the morning. Glycogen is at its LOWEST point in the morning and blood sugar is low.

The carbs ingested upon waking up will work in conjunction with protein to drive amino acids into our muscles.

So then people ask orange, what about protein shakes...? Aren't we supposed to drink one after training?

ALRIGHTS. The Truth about protein shakes. They are great (if u know wat to buy =.= COS some are.. some are just full of rubbish CRAP in them =.=").

For those OK protein shakes.. they do not contain any fibre.. Not like complex carbohydrates.. Consuming protein shakes without adequate consumption of fibre daily WILL constipate YOU.... Ouch..not nice at all.. hahas! ^^

Let Orange take u through 5 easy steps for HEALTH.

1. Nutrition

Its important to be aware of the influence of food and to understand how it relates to our health and performance.

2. Intensity

The training intensity means how hard is the work out or the difficulty of the training. Effort put in will force the body to compensate by putting demands on the muscles during training. Tats y muscle here pain there pain after training... This is how the body adapts to training.

"Going through the motion" does not challenge the body at all! NO additional positive changes will occur.. Athletes must train and live progressively if they expect to improve performance. ^^

3. Consistency

Let's face it. To have ANY benefit from the effects of training u have to actually FIRST workout and train, so the first thing is... u got to get started!!! Working out is not just for building or toning muscle, but for the maintenance of health and the security of UR well-being. Exercising NEEDS time, energy, and a strong COMMITTMENT. To achieve high level of physical health AND athletic performance, we should remain FOCUS to what it requires.

4. Sleep

DO YOU know while sleeping, the body releases growth hormone, which is essential to recovery, muscular growth and immune system function?

Heavy training MEANS longer periods of rest and sleep. Remember, your body doesn't grow during workout. It is beaten and battered there. It recovers and grows at night during sleep.

5. Attitude

The way we think is the KEY that unlocks every door. Motivation, which gets you to workout and determines your workout intensity, is generated through and FROM your mind. Your state of MIND determines your state of BODY. Thought is the cause.. your life is the effect. If you think in positive terms, you will get positive results. If you think in negative terms, you will NOT get anywhere... You must visualise your goals and imagine how good it will be to achieve them.
