wHAT IS Kilimanjaro Effect?

to explain it in simple - it is when the level of security overwhelms potential attackers and only the most determined will succeed.

i'm not trying to teach YOU to be an attacker.. but rather, knowing this effect, the area of security has to be always improved such that it will always be a level, higher than the reach of the attacker.

Nope.

Security is VERY important. - See the difference?

Usually users often view security with the effect like the first line and as a result, they never place much attention to security issues. And when things happened, their whole world came crashing down. They then blame this, blame that.

Why is it then, after that, they still don't seem to learn from their mistake? After pondering for a while, I had come to a conclusion.

Hahahaha...!! yeah. Stubbornness and Pride.

The fact that they don't believe it will happen again - this will just be the beginning.

Hence, LET's work together to put SECURITY as our FOCUS. I'm here to strongly urge ALL to be more vigilant in your dealings of internet transactions. Receiving of emails from banks asking you to click on the hyperlinks provided, prompting you to enter your username and password - this should be verified with you making a call to the bank first.

Practising safe routines might just save you from the clutches of an attacker.
