SOMEWHERE.. SOMEHOW.

BACK!!! WARNING: Long Blog HUMP AHEAD.. be sure to down gear to gear 2..

oh well. exams is officially OVER.
HAHAS.. dunno should laugh or cry.. exam results.. i dunno if i can take it if i really need to repeat modules. 301 and 304 are the 2 modules... i dunno how things can work out based on lack of time, tough paper, and my wrong answers. I don't even have the confidence that my lab assignments can help much.. very helpless.

I know God knows everything.. and I'm praying really hard for a miracle to take place. Utimately is His will... God.. I need You to comfort me then.

I'm officially ill.
dunno how to lead worship this sun.. its gonna be my last worship leading before the trip.

fact is.. I've lost my voice. Been coughing so much today. Losing voice to me is bad. cos i can't sing! ==.==
Will I get well by friday? Should I get someone to replace me for this week? Pls pray for me if you are a Christian!

Heh.
Alright.
Today has been challenging...

Somewhere somehow.. things just fell into place.

Received a horrible shock from Dad that the Embassy stop visa application at 11.30am!

So happen Dad could fetch me.. so huan didn't help me to transport my Diamond H2O to NTU.
Rushed down to Stevens Rd, saw a terribly long QUEUE!!! =.= Wasted few seconds there... tot it was the queue..
Then realised i don't have queue number.
climb up all the way.. somewhere somehow found a person issuing queue number!

Amazing huh?!

Got queue number (not issued by machine), went to the side to continue fill up my Visa Application Form. Then kinda push push push (X3) to a corner. Halfway.. 2 girls came to my left side to fill their forms too. They starting chatting and I kinda feel they seems to me as NTU gals...

as I continue to fill up the form, suddenly the girl on my left notice my application then said HI! WAHAHAHAS.. guess what... she is the girl from BUSINESS SCHOOL attached into the same company as me! Then later found out she also stay same place as me in Singapore! What a small world!

She is 1 year younger and the other girl is 3 years younger than me! Gosh.. aren't I abit... OLD?

Next.. the scene at the counter.

I submitted the required stuff.. then the lady at counter speaking perfect chinese was there.. looking fierce.
I asked her some questions then kena her "not very polite" replies..
She took the application form plus my official letter from NTU to apply the student visa.. staring at it for a moment, she ask me: what is this? 30 days is it?
HMM... i explained its a 6mths exchange program.. she starting shooting me how come?
er.. what do you mean by how come? its clearly stated there... i took my pen and i pointed at the letter "1 January to 30 June" which was clearly BOLDED.
=.=" obviously she don't understand English!!!
NVM.
After the 3 of us are done, we realised we didn't submit our 2nd photo to her.. as in she nv ask for it..
so we panic.. went back to ask her if required..
gosh. her eyes only stared at the documents in front of her.. didn't even look up at me.. just shook her head.
hmm. INTERESTING.

well. i still said "thanks".. but i'm kinda disappointed by such service provided by them.

One lady came up to me speaking PERFECT angmoh (i think she is western based singaporean) ask me if I'm singaporean.. whether 2 weeks trip to China need any visa.
Yup, please take note, for trips of less than 15 days to China for leisure, visa is not required for Singaporean.
then she told me her unpleasant experience.. she kena "lectured" by the person... cos she spoke english to the person and the person shot back asking her if she is a chinese.. then why she can't speak in chinese... she said she regretted telling the person she is chinese.. hahaha..

I tried consoling her.. ask her to take it easy. She continued saying that these people are working in Singapore, they should have at least the ability to converse in English! Hahas.. I totally agree with her...

I think if they are doing this service at the embassy located in SINGAPORE, shouldn't they be at least well trained and equipped with the right knowledge and skills to make the entire process abit SMOOTHER for Singaporeans? Of cos we need to know chinese as well, but its seems to me as a both ways thingy...!

oh well. Orange always have the chance to meet INTERESTING people..

*cough* i think my voice is getting more and more hoarse.
tmr starting work.. HAI. First day let people see my ill face.. not very good right..

Hai. i really don't think I can clear stage 2 now. everyday 8am to 5pm... where got time to book driving practical for non peak hours? its not possible.. any better suggestions? Pay for peak hours? Hmm.. i did considered.. but December month booking slots no more.. =.=

Starting using my msn space to blog too.. its not bad wor! hahas.. maybe i'll convert this to a food blog? Hmm. see how.
