First day at School
State: Low BattWas walking to school this morning and I saw a couple of pretty cute stuffs that could make anyone go eeks. Passed the males corridor and there was 2 crushed Tiger Beer cans. A few metres later, a black, long and skinny lizard skidded across my path. Up a flight of stairs, a big fat grey cat was there.. seemed quite happy to see me but sadly, cats are still not my type. After another long flight of stairs, a poor dead snail.. badly squashed.

My first lesson! Let's call the lecturer.. Mister Bean? I think he kinda looked like him. Hur... Well. I think the Advanced Data Management module.. its a pretty useful subject. I think its still kinda very much in demand out there. Mister Bean was kinda cool and the module was kinda.. er.. interesting.. I think his hairdo was quite nice.
Realised I have sooo much to chat with dear Eileen about Hokkaido... She was almost LATE for the first lesson of the day! Haha.. But she came eventually... and she recognised me!! Hur...
Second lesson was not my module okay. Its Distributed Computing. Its the module that I was thinking about doing it previously but I dropped the idea. Now that I've gone through it.. I think its more of networking and some programming.. than mathematics.. stats.. Eileen took it because other modules weren't friendly towards her Japanese module. Well. After some thinking, I think I might just drop my Simulation and Modelling for that. Meaning to say I'll be ending exam on 30 April now. Afterall.. FYP presentation is on 5-7 May.. BBC only finish her exams on 9 May.. I can't leave as early as much as I want. But I need to attend the Simulation and Modelling module first before I make my decision. I'm so glad that the Add/Drop period for modules is 2 weeks!
The third lesson. Well well.. Engineers and Society. Its an English module to me.. talking about Engineers and the issues of Singapore... ongoing life issues such as the rising cost of living in Singapore. I'm trying to sound apologetic here.. well. Hmm.. let's call the lecturer Miss Pinky? Well. Seriously I think she tried to crack jokes with our engineers-to-be class... but didn't achieve the effect that she wanted? Well.. I was rather impressed by the words she used. Really good english. Hmm.. but I guess her style of humor didn't quite match the technical style of our engineers-to-be. I guess we were all too engineered in a way that we didn't laugh when she wanted us to.. but rather.. we kinda laughed because her actions were really funny, to us. *trying to look grim*
She was saying about her teaching of this module for 9 years now.. with 2 semesters done in a year, making a total of 18 times. Wow. Thats amazing. And she could still dunno how to operate the video player to show us the movie today? I think that basically made most of the guys in the class not knowing how to react? She thought that her adjusting of the lights kinda has an effect that made the video stopped playing.. =.= Well. Seriously. It has reached a point where I covered my face with my jacket.. I dunno how to respond.
I'm still looking forward to her lesson for next week. Afterall, I hope that hearing more from her can kinda improve my english? :)
